BWDD – September 6, 2020

Please join me this evening for a special Labor Day edition of Blue Water Drift Dive on

Tonight we will focus on the music of one of my very favorite artists and human beings, none other than Shane Morris! To celebrate the work of this fantastic musician, during the first hour we’ll be playing a selection of tracks from his albums Equinox, Complex Silence 20, The Hundredth Mantra, and ONE. Then we will close the show out with live ambient long player Ritual Observances from his 2010 live performance with Dan Miñoza The Ritual Space, a performance I was privileged to see in person. Magnificent work by two masterful artists.

I’ll also be opening the show with some extended live jamming.

The show happens tonight at 10p/9p/8p/7p ET/CT/MT/PT (2a UTC), immediately following the end of Tony Gerber’s fantastic Ambient Sundays program, and will last at least 2 hours. As with all programs, the emphasis is on community, so of course there is a live chat. If you tune in, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello …
