Pirate Raid Tonight!

Arrrrr, mateys.

It’s been quite a few minutes since the last time I broadcast, but I thought this Saturday night would be a good time for another pirate raid on RadioSpiral.net.

I will be playing a nice selection of ambient tunes from Earth Mantra’s The Hundredth Mantra, so I hope you will tune in for that. There will also be a live performance by me.

The show happens TONIGHT, Saturday October 16 at 10p/9p/8p/7p ET/CT/MT/PT (2a UTC), and will last at least 2 hours. As with all RadioSpiral.net programs, the emphasis is on community, so of course there is a live chat.

I hope to see you there!

BWDD – September 27, 2020

Please join me this evening for another edition of Blue Water Drift Dive on RadioSpiral.net. And tonight is “desert ambient” night! Yes, that lovely genre combining southwest motifs, ancient instruments, thunderous hand percussion, and the deepest, most meditative ambience on the planet. We’ll be on a journey through the darkest canyons and broadest desert plains, under a panoply of stars that must be seen to be believed.

To that end, I’ll be playing music by many of my favorite artists, including Steve Roach, Robert Carty, Shane Morris, Numina, Alpha Wave Movement, Ajnia, and Tange. Plus there will be a live set by yours truly.

The show happens tonight at 10p/9p/8p/7p ET/CT/MT/PT (2a UTC), immediately following the end of Tony Gerber’s fantastic Ambient Sundays program, and will last at least 2 hours. As with all RadioSpiral.net programs, the emphasis is on community, so of course there is a live chat. If you tune in, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello …

BWDD – August 9, 2020

Please join me this evening for another edition of Blue Water Drift Dive on RadioSpiral.net.

Tonight we will be exploring various facets of this hard-to-define beautiful gem known as Space Music. We’ll be hearing music from the likes of DASK, Alpha Wave Movement, and Tange, as well as a tremendous live concert recording from The Ministry of Inside Things. As usual, I will be opening with a live set, also sort of Space Music-ey.

The show happens tonight at 10/9/8/7p (2a UTC), immediately following the end of Tony Gerber’s fantastic Ambient Sundays program, and will last at least 2 hours. As with all RadioSpiral.net programs, the emphasis is on community, so of course there is a live chat. If you tune in, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello …
